Owing to a great concern over the absence of the Seventh-day Advenist Church in the GRA and Rumueme axis and an urgent need to close the gap, the Mile 3 Church Board took an action in mid-2017 to engage in some expansion of the physical, structural and mission presence of the Seventh-day Adventist Church around the GRA/Rumueme axis through branch Sabbath schools. The action led to the movement of about 3 action units closer to the GRA axis to support the establishment of the church. Prior to that there were Discipleship/Lay training activities which gave birth to a Harbinger team and first volunteer of worshipers that became the active foot soldiers who went from house to house making friends and sharing love and fellowship in the area. This gave a good foundation to so many friends that are today members of the church.
